Sadly Stranded on the Surface

Ever since the first of the DRC's "SCARS" happenings I've been stranded on the surface. It sucks. I so wanted to be involved in something this time. My KI's bust and I can't go below at all ...

I had just made the first contact with Myss Terrie's Bevin forum to join too. And I planned on joining the bevin the next time I was in.

I've been still studying more, but truth be known, it's really starting to suck without being able to explore in the meantime. I'm really getting discouraged.

I have techs trying to help me with my KI and such, but it doesn't look promising.

Hopefully there will be good news soon...

This week's explorations have been interesting. I've met a few more explorers in the cavern and bevins. I've started adding a few to my buddy list so I can find them if I need to.

My KI is working better, although it still won't register a private link to Myss Terrie's Bevin or even the invitation message. I will be back in the cavern later today and maybe it will show up now. Not sure what the problem is there.

When I'm not exploring or working at the office, I write fiction. Studying the D'ni has really inspired me on my fiction. My world now has its own number and alphabet system. I find myself paying more attention to details also. My culture and world is a lot different than the D'ni ages, but that hasn't stopped the D'ni from inspiring me.

I need to find or make my own timeline though. The histories seem to suggest centuries at times and thousands of years at others. I think I'm just studying items out of order and that's the reason. If I made better notes that probably would help.

I've managed to convince my sister, Fachia, to come in to the cavern. That will be fun.

I only completed one GZ mission today. My KI is really acting up. It does that when there are a lot of other KIs around.

Didn't see any explorers I've made friends with today. I did refer one person to Jazz. This explorer was new to the D'ni restoration and exploration and really confused. He was calling for help in the Greeters Bevin, but no greeters were around. I answered his questions as best as I could, but due to my continued KI issues I don't think I got far.

Maybe I'll get rich and can afford a new KI. LOL

For a few weeks now, I've been exploring the world of D'ni. A wonderful civilization! I've just begun to scratch the surface of their story and world.

I've taken Yeesha's journey; saved one Bahro. Her story impresses me.

I've explored the cavern well. I can link into the city at any point and run to wherever I need to be without too much trouble now.

I've collected the required 30 Great Zero markers and have begun the missions. I'm calibrating my KI slowly - running two missions at a time.

My KI acts up sometimes. Support has parts ordered for it, but it could take up to an year to fix the issues. In the meantime, I explore and talk to other explorers as well as I can.

I visited Myss Terrie's Bevin today. Sat around the campfire with some very nice people. I'll keep visiting them and other Bevins. I like the Bevin I was given, but I think I'll join another instead of building mine up.

There are four pod ages available through the museum. I've visited three of them so far. I should work on exploring those this week.

There are two ages that are linkable through the bevins. I've explored those, but they take a group of people to solve. I'll have to talk to someone about that. I'm afraid my KI issues will interfere with coordinating with others on a mission.
